MeredithMeredith Kessinger Damm

Meredith is the Founder and Managing Director of Fountainhead Advisors. She has over twenty years of business valuation and investment banking experience and has provided valuation services for financial reporting, 409A common stock compliance, C to S conversions, estate tax planning and reporting, fairness opinions, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning purposes.

Accredited Senior Appraiser in Business Valuation (ASA) in business valuation with the American Society of Appraisers and is certified by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) business valuation certification program. She received an MBA in finance from Georgia State University and a BS in marketing from Birmingham-Southern College.

Prior to founding Fountainhead Advisors, Meredith was a Senior Manager and Director at a boutique business valuation and investment banking firm. Other experience includes Wachovia Capital Markets where Ms. Damm advised companies on financing and exit strategies. Meredith was also a Senior Associate in the Corporate Finance Group of PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Meredith is involved in the following professional organizations: The Atlanta Women’s Foundation, Women’s Finance Exchange, The Financial Network, Board of Directors Network, American Society of Appraisers and the J. Mack Robinson MBA Alumni Group.

SarahSarah DeKreek

Sarah is a Managing Director at Fountainhead Advisors. She is an Accredited Senior Appraiser in Business Valuation (ASA) with over fifteen years of experience advising privately held and publicly traded companies on valuation and other financial matters. Sarah has been a member of the American Society of Appraisers since 2006, was a co-instructor for American Management Association’s (AMA) recurring business valuation course “Valuation of Companies: The Practical Aspects,” in years 2008 through 2011, as well as a contributor to the revised course manual and instruction materials.

Sarah’s valuation advisory experience includes performing valuation services for publicly held and private companies for numerous purposes, including estate and gift tax matters, buy-sell agreements, employee stock ownership plans, partnership and shareholder dissolutions, financial reporting and fairness opinions.

Prior to joining Fountainhead Advisors, Sarah was a Partner at Evans and Associates Valuation Advisory Services. In addition her prior valuation experience includes her role as the Vice President of Business Valuation and Transaction Advisory Services for a regional bank with assets of $13 billion, and a Senior Analyst in the Strategic Finance groups of Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen. Ms. DeKreek received a Bachelor of Science in finance from Pennsylvania State University.

Frank Evans

Frank is the Director of Transaction Services at Fountainhead Advisors where he advises on issues of ownership transition and transaction negotiations.  Areas of particular expertise include assisting clients form and execute their exit strategies, ranging from formation of an ESOP or management buyout, to facilitating transaction negotiations with selected targets or acquirers.

Frank has over 35 years of valuation-related consulting experience in many industries working with middle market through large public companies. Frank holds the nationally recognized business valuation credentials of Accredited Senior Appraiser in Business Valuation (ASA) and Certified Business Appraiser (CBA).

Frank is the co-author of two books VALUATION FOR M&A: Building Value in Private Companies first and second editions published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc., and has authored articles that have appeared in all of the leading business valuation journals. He has also served as Editor of Business Appraisal Practice, the journal for The Institute of Business Appraisers, now merged with the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA).

Frank has spoken at over 100 valuation seminars and conferences throughout North America and Europe. He is a member of the American Society of Appraisers and has taught business valuation courses for the ASA and other valuation organizations and has spoken at national conferences. He designed the seminar, “Valuation of Companies: The Practical Aspects,” for the American Management Association for whom he taught for over 20 years.

LisaLisa Noojin

Lisa is an Associate at Fountainhead Advisors where she is responsible for business development, drafting marketing material, and managing the social media strategy for the firm.

Lisa has over 17 years of experience in the finance industry including Vice President and Director positions in the investment banking divisions of Raymond James & Associates, Hartsfield Capital Group, Inc. and Primis, Inc.  Lisa also held Relationship Manager and Senior Associate positions within the Private Wealth Divisions of Salomon Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch. She has degrees from Salisbury University (Bachelor of Science, Finance) and Everest University (Master of Business Administration, magna cum laude). Lisa previously held the Merrill Lynch Certified Financial Manager (CFM) designation and the following securities licenses: Series 3, 7, 24, 28, 31, 63, and 65.
